Class Discussion

Full class discussion is important in the classroom. So often have I taken classes where the only person speaking the full time period is the teacher. In my opinion this style of teaching does nothing but bore the students and lessens their ability to learn. When you get the students involved in the lecture the most learning is taking place. Your goal should be to captivate the student in whatever it is that is being taught. If you accomplish that then you have ensured maximum learning for your students.
